How I got from DR to Kansas...

Wow, well it was a great year in the DR and God has been so faithful to reveal Himself to me more each day. As I was winding downmy time in DR, I began to feel that to pursue the missionslife I really neededmore training and assossiation with an official organization. I found one in DR but after prayer and pondering I realized that one was not right for me. So one night I was supposed to go to a friend's house to meet a missionary and I was so tired, that I blew it off and stayed home...funny though, the next weekend I went to a bday party for a person I never met and this guy (missionary) was there also!!! He had never met these people either...strange!

So we talked alot and on a whim he mentionedto me a website for International House of Prayer (IHOP) he said the page was really informative...so the next day I went to check out the site and something made me look to see if they had a training program. Well, not only did they have a year program, but they have a full university! I decided to apply and if I got in then god would besayin "go there" well after all that I realized that it was in Kansas City Missouri and funny howGod works, but I have a cousin who lives right outside of KC Kansas...so I go in, my cousin and her family are graciously letting mestay in their house....and mostly God reigns! This will be an intensive program of study, prayer (4 hours daily)and fasting (1 week each month). It runs along the college schedule so I should be home at Christmas.
