Hello all
Well I am here in Kansas with my cousin and the ride here though about 24 hours, was GREAT!
It started out on Monday a four hour trip to Penn State University in Penn to see my cuosin. The visit was nice and I got to catch up with her family and a friend. The next day I took off for Michigan (detroit) and it took about 7 hours to get to my friends house where I visited with her and learned alot about the environment there. I went the next day for the final leg of the trip which I knew would be about 12 1/2 hours....and it was that exactly! Anyway, I am so glad to have had some time on my own to unwind and mentally prepare for this next adventure in my life. The trip I was thinking would be very dreary but it was actually a great expernience tahnks to about 15 sermon cds that kept my attention and even the weather was good. i stopped frequently and basically GOd kept my mind and body fresh and awake....so upon arriving I have had a chance to set up my living space and play with my baby cousin and the dogs!!!(two boxers) Today I went to the facility where IHOP Missions Base is and it seems very active and diverse which is nice to see. So, next week it will all begin.
Prayer requests:
For my cousins pregnancy that all will go well and for transition for her daughter. Pray for their doggy who suffers leg issues. Pray for my schedule ability to get up and accomplish the daily tasks efficiently and pray for teacher, students and administrators of ourschools which begin this week. Also pray for our government as we approach elections tah God's hand would be in the chsing process. God Bless

En route to Kansas...
Here we go! I will be leaving for Kansas on Monday and I am prepared for my 21hour trip! I will be stopping at Penn State Universaity to visit a cousin, then off to Michigan to see a friend and finally down to Kansas with a possible stop in St. Louis if I get tired!
Basically I am as prepared as I will be an xcited for this new phase though to be honest, no quite certain about what to expect. I do know that God is in control and He has never failed meso I don't presume He will now. Pray for safe travels, alertness and joy as well as an easy transition into my cousin's home.
